Maximum Allowable Mass (MTM)

The Maximum Allowable Mass (abbreviated MTM) is the maximum total weight that a trailer, its accessories (e.g. hood, haulm racks, etc.) and the load may weigh. That weight is determined by the trailer manufacturer and is stated on the certificate of conformity.
