The AL-KO Safety-Ball is inserted into the opening of the ball coupling when the trailer is uncoupled. After locking with a lock or other anti-theft device, the Safety-Ball is secured against rapid removal. This makes it practically impossible to quickly hook the trailer to a hook or unscrewed tow ball and drive away with it.
