Pulling a trailer with a B driving license?

The maximum permissible mass (MTM) of the vehicle is 3500 kg and the vehicle is suitable for the transport of up to 8 passengers, excluding the driver.

So this is valid when

  • MTM trailer is less than 750 kg, or

  • MTM trailer is more than 750 kg, and
MTM car + MTM trailer together is no more than 3500 kg

When do I need a driving licence B + code 96?
