All products offered through our webshop for consumption in the EU are REACH compliant.
The purpose of the REACH system is to manage the risks of chemical substances, such as the risks of toxic disasters, fire and explosions, health damage to employees and consumers, and damage to the environment.
According to the REACH system, all substances in use or put into use in the European Union should be treated as follows:
- inventory via mandatory registration of the producer or importer;
- evaluate their risks to people and the environment;
- and on that basis whether or not to grant permission (authorization) to use the substances.
The regulation also allows use restrictions (called restrictions) to be introduced throughout the European Community where this proves necessary for health or environmental reasons.
